What is a Blog?
As many of you will already be aware, a blog (short for weblog) is an online diary that allows easy posting to the internet. Postings appear in reverse chronological order - most recent first. Old posting can be found by scrolling down the blog or by clicking on the archives listed in the side bar. I have left one post from 2005 called 'Who Moved My Cheese' below.
A feature of a blog is that it also allows the author to establish links to other websites. You can, for example, click on this link to find out more about blogs and blogging .
People write blogs for many purposes. I will use this blog to provide and link to case study and background materials that support and/or illustrate lecture and seminar discussion. By the end of the module it should have built into a valuable resource to support assessment.
A feature of the blog is that you can click on 'comments' at the end of any post; please use this feature if you wish to suggest other links to include in the blog, discuss the blog content, or report any faults or broken links.
